ONE PEOPLE, ONE SKY

That's the idea to
be shared around the
globe by the organization
called AWB in short

These are only four
words, however they constitute
important, beautiful proof of
unity above any divisions

Most of them have
their source in man's
mind while the others
are created consciously deliberately

We all inhabit one
blue world, which we
perceive as our home;
both unique and common

We've found a safe
shelter under one sky
seeking there any traces
of intelligent, extraterrestrial life

Being shaped by centuries,
we seem to be
so different than ancestors...
Nevertheless, we're very similar

What has joined us…?
The invariable passion for
astronomy that reflects curiosity,
friendship, pursue for knowledge

Let it be then
our signpost and roadmap
to build together, better
future for all mankind.

Short info:
The poem was inspired by AWB motto, and is dedicated to all space enthusiasts (both professionals and amateurs), being simultaneously an invitation for all those who have not been bitten yet by a bug how stunning the Universe may be.

This community of stargazers and astronomers has definitely found a "safe shelter" under the stars. I hope your words inspire others to understand the true mission of AWB and get more involved now and in the future years to come. Thank you for your poem.
