NEW ASTROPOEMS AT TARGOVISTE ASTRO-FEST 2023 (1)

By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe

.

.

1. LONELINESS AND ANTI-LONELINESS

(Astropoetic work written in spatiotemporal tandem following an astro-cenacle for two, held in the rain on the bench of a station through which buses passed with the following message:

WHILE TIME GOES ON, PLEASE HOLD ON MORE TO THE BARS AND LESS TO THE SUN!)

By Adrian Sima and Andrei Dorian Gheorghe

.

MOTTO:

The positions of two people in the smallest spatial proximity are different in time.

LONELINESS (1)

By Adrian Sima (advisor: Andrei Dorian Gheorghe)

.

In an astronomy workshop that I held

at the high school where I teach,

I had in front of me (3 m away) a 6th grade girl.

I told her that the speed of light is 300,000 km/s

and we started calculating how long it takes for light

to get from me to her...

Answer: 10 nanoseconds!!!

.

Then I asked her how long it takes the light

to reach from her to a colleague,

located a little further from me (9 m away).

Answer: 30 nanoseconds...

.

The conclusion

from an astrophysical point of view:

two people, no matter

how close they are in space,

cannot coexist at exactly the same time.

The present is only mine, for me.

.

Suddenly, another girl's whispered amazement

was heard from behind:

"What loneliness!”

.

ANTI-LONELINESS (1)

.

A universal space law -

don't try to be alone

in loneliness!

.

LONELINESS (2)

By Adrian Sima (advisor: Andrei Dorian Gheorghe)

.

The black hole attracts everything towards it...

.

With its astrophysical longing,

it draws all its friends

into its gravitational embrace

that I'm afraid is deadly…

it is a spatiotemporal

loneliness-singularity!

.

ANTI-LONELINESS (2)

By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (advisor: Adrian Sima)

.

If two people meet,

it could be

an encouraging caress.

.

If two stars meet,

it could be

a cosmic explosion.

.

But if more people

get together for an astro-fest,

it could definitely be

a happy star cluster!
