I remember the first time I ever saw the Milky Way galaxy outside of the dome of the city. I went about one hour outside of Montreal to see the Hale-Bopp comet. A beautiful clear night, cold but dark. Every other night wishing city limits I would have to really concentrate to see our galaxy, but that one night - the Milky Way just seemed to jump out of the sky in all its glory. I was so lucky that night, because I also enjoyed the comet!
